- I was born in Nowy Pohost. The term «Pohost» is very ancient. It was used in The Primary Chronicle by Nestor (c. 1056 - c.1114). This territory belonged to Poland before the Second World War. However, as a result of post-war revision of borders (the agreement in Yalta, etc.), Nowy Pohost appeared in borders of the USSR. Lupins are growing in vicinities of Nowy Pohost in the big diversity. This plant was pleasant to me since my childhood. I became the lupins researcher, agriculturist and biologist in result.
